Spring Break in Germany
During our spring break, we went to Hamburg in Germany for 5 days.
We started our trip from Horsens, Thomas drove for approximately 3 hours and we arrived in the youth hostel in Hamburg.
Hamburg is the second biggest city in Germany, with 1.8 million inhabitants. The inhabitants are called hamburger, that’s so cute…
We noticed that the traffic in Hamburg is really awful, so we decided to walk through Hamburg during the five days. The weather was not so good but it was warmer than Horsens.
The center of Hamburg is closed to cars, but allowed for buses and taxis. So there are many pedestrian streets with many shops for example 4 McDonalds, 5 H&M!!
We saw a lot of architectural monuments as the central station, the city hall which is really beautiful, and the St Petri church …
We found a shop called Saturn; it was so big and so amazing, with a lot of CD, DVD, tee shirts of music bands and statues from movies, series or video games. Thomas took a picture of me with the Simpsons and with a “lapin cretin”. And Thomas bought a beer mug filled with candies.
We really appreciated this trip in Hamburg thanks to the kindness of the Germans and the beauty of the city.
